| Maternity Open House |
Having a baby is special to every member of your family.
We invite expectant families to join us for a Maternity
Open House. Held monthly on the second Monday of the month
at 7:00 p.m. (except November and December) families have
an opportunity to meet members of our staff and tour the

| Basic Prepared Childbirth Classes |
Pregnancy is an exciting & joyful time, with some fear of the unknown. This class will help you
understand the process of labor and delivery and prepare for your baby. First time parents and
those wishing an in depth review of the childbirth process are encouraged to attend.

| Refresher Childbirth Classes |
For "experienced" parents who wish a basic review of the childbirth process. A two class series
held in conjunction with the Basic Childbirth Program.

| Breastfeeding Class |
Breastfeeding is one of the most natural experiences but often there is a desire and need for
instruction. This class will provide important information and helpful hints. Cost: free of charge.

| Infant CPR |
This class teaches family and friends how to perform CPR and relieve choking. Cost: free of charge.

Directions to classes in the AHEC Building:
- Drive past the Emergency Room towards Glenburnie Road.
- Immediately after the Heart Center & Oncology Center, turn right on Health Drive.
- Take first parking lot on right. Look for a white covered walkway that connects the Heart Center and Oncology Center to the Education building.
- Park in the parking lot where the white covered walkways ends, and enter through the double doors.
- Enter the classroom on the right.
